Greg grew up in Bettendorf, Iowa where he had the pleasure of playing his junior golf under the instruction of the famous #1 ranked golf instructor in the world, Butch Harmon. As a former tour player, Harmon was able to tutor him on the intricacies of the golf swing and the skills involved with tournament preparation. Greg went on to attend the University of Iowa on a full golf scholarship where he earned his degree in Marketing.
After college, Greg made his home here in the greater Orlando area. He attempted in the PGA Tour qualifying school and participated in various mini tour events over the next three years. After attaining his PGA Class A membership, Greg took the position of Head Golf Professional at Hawk's Landing Golf Club which he held for six years. Highlands Reserve was lucky enough to appoint Greg as our Head Professional in 2006.
Greg has over 20 years of experience teaching golfers of all skill levels. Whether you are a beginner or a low handicap golfer, he will be able to help you improve your game. On course instruction is one of his specialties where he can teach you the ins and outs of managing your game properly on the golf course.
