Golf Instruction

Our PGA Professional Greg Tebbutt is ready to assist your every golfing need.

Greg grew up in Bettendorf, Iowa where he had the pleasure of playing his junior golf under the instruction of the famous #1 ranked golf instructor in the world, Butch Harmon.  As a former tour player, Harmon was able to tutor him on the intricacies of the golf swing and the skills involved with tournament preparation.  Greg went on to attend the University of Iowa on a full golf scholarship where he earned his degree in Marketing.

After college, Greg made his home here in the greater Orlando area.  He attempted in the PGA Tour qualifying school and participated in various mini tour events over the next three years.  After attaining his PGA Class A membership, Greg took the position of Head Golf Professional at Hawk's Landing Golf Club which he held for six years.  Highlands Reserve was lucky enough to appoint Greg as our Head Professional in 2006.

Greg has over 20 years of experience teaching golfers of all skill levels.  Whether you are a beginner or a low handicap golfer, he will be able to help you improve your game.  On course instruction is one of his specialties where he can teach you the ins and outs of managing your game properly on the golf course.

Lessons are also available from our Assistant Golf Professional, Matt Smith. Matt is a graduate of the Professional Golfer’s College and has been a valued employee at Highland Reserve for a number of years. He specializes in the instruction of juniors and beginner golfers but has experience instructing players of all skill levels. He may also be reached at the Highlands Reserve pro shop in which you may inquire about his rates and lesson packages.
